Equity
Equity means fairness and justice in the way people are treated. It recognizes that individuals start from different places and may need different levels of support to achieve similar outcomes.
Equity vs. Equality
While equality means treating everyone the same, equity recognizes that people have different needs and circumstances. Equity is about ensuring everyone has access to the resources and opportunities they need to succeed.
